Barbora Müllerová works as illustrator, lecturer and curator of the International Illustration and Comics Festival LUSTR in Prague.

Both in her art practice and research she focuses on topics around nature, environment and human rights while examining the role of visual culture in society and inventing new ways to communicate important issues.

Her works were exhibited at Taipei, Ghent, Riga or Budapest, her comics stories got included in prestigious anthologies of alternative comics such as Latvian Kuš! Or Finnish Kuti. By the end of 2025, Barbora’s new book Pencil Tip. Strategies of Socially Engaged Illustration and Comics will be published in Czech and English languages.
