Ákos Polgárdi, born in 1983, studied at the University of Szeged and Central European University.

He has been working as an independent graphic designer since 2011. In 2016, he co-founded the graphic design studio SUBMACHINE with Ági Rubik.

In 2022, he founded Hungarian Book Design.
